Day 6: Bright & Early

Okay, so I have to admit… while waking up at 5am really sucks most of the time, I somehow enjoyed it this morning. Rob bought me an iHome for Christmas before he left, along with his old iPod shuffle with all the good R&B songs on it… so I woke up to the soothing sounds of John Legend. It really set an amazing tone for the day and I enthusiastically went to class feeling amazing to start. Took it slow during class; Insel’s energy is something else, and it really helps wake me up. Then the cherry on top – I’m the first one on my team to make it into the office and already getting things done!

Things are lookin’ up 🙂

  3. Thanks for the reminder that I need to get up earlier in the morning! I’ve just begun my own personal revolution … raw foods, meditation, and daily yoga in the hopes of healing some chronic back pain. Come and say hi!

    • getting up early is truly a challenge especially when children aren’t in the picture yet. i find it’s really a matter of willpower and dedication. however, this week, i’ve only been able to make one morning class so far. i’ll actually leave early from work to make the 4pm and still make dinner plans! it’s too much. i’d rather discipline myself to do the morning thing and get back on a regular schedule. good for you, doing the yoga will definitely help your back!!! think of all the $ you’re saving from a chiropractor 🙂 as soon as i post this comment i am checking your page out!
